Memorial Page - for those we loved & lost
Losing your best friend can be extremely painful and you may feel very isolated. While there's no right or wrong way to grieve, we know that sharing that grief and talking helps so much.
We have created this page to honour those that walked beside us, for those that were our best friends and that will never be forgotten. We hope you receive some comfort from looking through the photos and reading the information.
If you'd like to reach out for support in our wonderful community ~ here it is

Roxy
When I see a rainbow, I think of you.
It makes me smile, and stop feeling blue.
I feel your spirit, sitting next to me.
And understand, that's where you will always be.
I can see you in, the colours of the sky.
Knowing now, that it's never goodbye. x

This is Fritz , our back GSD, who left us nearly 10 years ago aged 9.5. He saw the whole family through the trauma of the chronic illness of my husband and was a listening ear for the kids (and me) when things were hard. He saw me through 3 years of cancer treatment and always made us smile. He was the best dog a family could ask for and we didn’t deserve him. Those eyes say it all; the last photo I took of him before we sent him over the rainbow bridge.

Jasper
Jasper You have left a big hole in our hearts. We miss you every day, run free Jasper. We love you x
Monty
Monty was a special dog, and was with us for 15 years. He came as a puppy, and was almost an afterthought when we got Megan who was a retired gun dog. He was the best impulse decision we ever made. We have had such good times, how he loved his walks, getting muddy and just sleeping and snoring at our feet. He was very cheeky, loved cheese and toast. For the last few years Monty was deaf and got to learn springer sign language: garden, walk, food and I love you. That seems a good vocabulary for humans too. When you welcome a dog into your home your world changes in a wonderful way. He has left a Monty shaped paw prints in our hearts.

Mr Feds
Fedsig The Giant (Mr Feds) 19/07/07 24/09/22 Where do I start? First met you at 2 days old and fell in love with you straight away. Won't say we had an easy journey, but we had fun. You took me from pet dog ownership into the world of Obedience. We went to Crufts, not just once, but several times. Then Ghost came along and you helped introduce her to competing. When she started to do Heelwork To Music, you came along for the ride - and won us straight out of Starters. You enjoyed your Gundog work too, especially doing displays at various big shows. You even delved into the world of TV (well, a commercial). But most of all, you were my best friend. I'm really going to miss you. Xx

He settled really well and was completely a mommiieee and daddiiees boy .. who enjoyed singing ( especially when he heard a siren ) hated fireworks... loved curling up on sofa watching football and he was a fantastic protector.
He was also a sod... loved coffee and nicking odd slurp of wine... and counter surfing .. nicking pizza right out the box! His favourite toy was the head of a plastic duck ( you know the ones toddlers have in their bath!).We lost him in January 2019 through quite shocking circumstances and to our belief through neglect of the vets where he was I miss him every day.. this is my fav photo of him.
