Why is downtime important?

Russ & Jako having a moment!

Sssh, they both don't know we have posted this but we couldn't resist letting you all in on this special moment between the two of them ~ one man and his dog!

It's so important for dogs to have downtime, rest and sleep.

Jako has such a busy week that often we don't do much at the weekend, it's so important for him to just chill.

Downtime is vital for dogs so they are able to process what they have learnt in training and play . It's essential for improving mental and physical health aswell as improving focus, brain development and memory. By providing your dog with regular chill out time it will allow them to recover, recharge, and maintain optimal mental and physical health.

How much downtime does your dog have? We would love to hear all about it!
